Downhill skiing: 250km of runs. Serre Chevalier offers you 74 ski lifts, including cutting-edge equipment: 19 chairlifts, 2 of which are detachable 6-seaters and 3 detachable 4-seaters which are among the longest in Europe, covering up to 800 metres of vertical drop, 12-seater gondolas and a 50-seater cable car...but also equipment geared towards children and beginners: a moving walkway, T-bar lifts, Poma lifts. Cross-country skiing: 35km of runs. The cross-country skiing at Serre Chevalier traverses all of the villages in the valley. From the foot of Saint Chaffrey to the foot of Le Lautaret, you will find superb slopes with 10km for skating, with most tracks weaving through larch tree forests which lend the resort its charm. 35km of runs from green to black to win the hearts of all aficionados of the great outdoors.
