Welcome to La Grave and Villar d'Arène. In a magnificent setting, the majestic Queen Meije and her sparkling glaciers overlook the villages of La Grave and Villar d'Arène from an altitude of 3 983m. La Meije is an emblem of the Alps and renowned for mountaineering. La Grave / La Meije belongs to the privileged circle of original ski resorts in the world of skiing. From the top lift ( t-bar) at 3560m one descends freely the 2150 m vertical drop of the Vallons de la Meije in an abundance of fresh, un-groomed snow. In parallel with the adventurous skiing on the north face of the Meije, the three areas of Le Chazelet, Villar d'Arène and the Col du Lautaret, are ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers. Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Oisans mountain range while skiing in safety on green, blue and red pistes.
